The legal reality

We never have to exaggerate. The truth is alarming enough.

These are public, citable facts — not fear-mongering. We surface real risk and fix the real problems behind it.

8,667

Federal ADA Title III lawsuits filed in 2025 — roughly 3× the 2013 level.

3,252

Filed in California alone — where the Unruh Act adds $4,000 per violation.

1 in 4

US adults live with a disability — customers your site may be quietly turning away.

30–50%

Share of WCAG issues an automated scan can even detect — the rest need manual review.

Small businesses are the preferred target

Serial plaintiffs favor smaller businesses because they tend to settle quickly. "We're too small" is false comfort.

Demand letters cost money either way

Just responding to a meritless demand letter means legal fees — whether or not it ever becomes a filed suit.

The exposure compounds daily

Every day an inaccessible site is live is another day a plaintiff or scanner can find it. A meter that's always running.

How it works

No mystery. No widgets. Three honest steps.

Scan → free report → hand-coded fix. You see everything before you spend a dollar.

01

We scan your site

We run an automated accessibility scan across your key pages and pull the specific issues — named criteria, real counts, actual pages.

02

You get the free report

A page-by-page breakdown, free and with no obligation. If it's useful and you want the fixes, we scope your site and give you a clear, flat quote.

03

We hand-code the fixes

Real changes to the HTML, CSS and ARIA — on any platform. We confirm everything manually and give you a dated record of the work.

Why hand-coded

We never sell an overlay. Ever.

Overlays — the "one line of code makes you compliant" widgets — are the biggest credibility landmine in this field. The disability community widely rejects them, and here's the part that matters most to you:

Sites using overlays get sued more, not less. Pitching "avoid lawsuits" while installing the thing that attracts them makes no sense.

We fix the actual code. Platform-agnostic — WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Shopify, custom. No site left behind.

✕ Overlay widgets
  • Bolt-on script over broken code
  • Rejected by screen-reader users
  • Associated with more litigation
  • Breaks on every content change
  • "Compliance" theater
✓ Hand-coded by a11yGuardian
  • Real HTML / CSS / ARIA fixes
  • Works with assistive tech
  • Actually reduces exposure
  • Verified manually, page by page
  • A dated record of the work
Do the math

Same work. The only variable is whose terms.

You can fix this proactively, on your schedule — or reactively, after a demand letter, for a lot more.

Proactive · on your terms
A few thousand dollars
  • Your schedule, no pressure
  • One clean scope of work
  • A site that works for everyone
vs
Reactive · a plaintiff's terms
That + a whole lot more
  • + The same remediation work
  • + Legal fees & a rushed timeline
  • + A possible settlement
Beyond the lawsuit

1 in 4 US adults has a disability. Is your site turning them away?

That's roughly 25% of your market. When your checkout, booking form, or menu can't be used with a screen reader or on a phone, those customers don't complain — they just buy from a competitor whose site works. It's rare that reducing legal risk and growing revenue point the same direction. Here, they do.

25%

of potential customers you may be losing before they ever reach a "buy" or "book" button.

Recover the customers you're losing

Every abandoned cart or unfinished booking from someone who couldn't use your site is revenue you never see. The same hand-coded fix that lowers your legal exposure quietly reopens that door.

Bonus: Google rewards it

Accessible markup is better SEO

Semantic HTML, alt text, real labels and clean structure are exactly what search crawlers reward. A WCAG-clean site tends to rank higher, load cleaner, and convert more — accessibility and SEO pull in the same direction.

Pricing

Three honest ways to go.

Straight answers

Questions people actually ask.

Is this a scam? How do I know you're legit?+

Totally fair — there are fake versions of this. A scam email is vague and demands you pay immediately to make a lawsuit disappear. We do the opposite: we name the specific broken elements on your actual pages, we're a real business in Virginia with a real phone and address, and we never ask you for a dime in outreach. We offer you a free report. If we were scammers, we'd be very bad ones.

My web developer already handles this.+

That's good — and we'd love for them to have it covered. But accessibility is a specialty, and most excellent developers were never trained in WCAG. Easy test: ask them your homepage's color-contrast ratios, or whether your booking form passes a screen-reader check. If they can answer, you're in great shape. If not, that's the gap we fill — and we're happy to just send the free report so you both can see where things stand.

We're too small to get sued.+

It's actually backwards. Serial plaintiffs often prefer smaller businesses, precisely because a small business is more likely to settle quickly than to hire lawyers and fight. Over 8,600 of these suits were filed in federal court in 2025 alone, plus many more in state courts — and most defendants aren't household names. The good news: the fix is the same regardless, and it's inexpensive relative to a demand letter.

Do you use an accessibility overlay or widget?+

Never. Overlays are widely rejected by the disability community, and — fatal to the whole pitch — sites using them get sued more, not less. We hand-code fixes to the real HTML, CSS and ARIA, confirm them manually, and give you a dated record of the work.

How much does it cost, and what platforms do you support?+

Your free report includes an estimate; the final scope is confirmed after a manual review of your actual code. You choose from three options — Priority Fix, Full Remediation, or Full + Monitoring. We're platform-agnostic: WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Shopify, or custom. No site left behind.
